Secrets and Shortcuts
Keyboard Shortcuts:
Windows_Key+E = Opens Windows Explorer
Windows_Key+D = Shows Desktop
Ctrl+C = Copy
Ctrl+V = Paste
Ctrl+A = Select All
Click then Shift+Click = Select multiple files (between first and second clicks)
Ctrl+Click = Toggle individual selections (select/unselect individual files)
Shift+Arrow_Keys = Select (between start and finish)
Mouse Tricks:
Click and draw a box to select multiple files
Desktop:
Workspace metaphor (really just a folder with special treatment)
C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Desktop
Easy place to work on projects
Cleanup: Quick Launch & "Pin to Start menu"
Toolbars:
My Computer
[Right-click Taskbar > Toolbars > New Toolbar > My Computer]
Or other toolbars, like "My Documents"
