    Basic setup: [Tools > Folder Options > View]
  • Set up the view you want to use.
  • Set up the view you want to use.
  • View > Folder views > "Apply to All Folders"
  • View > Advanced settings:
  • Uncheck: Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folders list
  • Display the full path in the address bar
  • Display the full path in the title bar
  • Option: Show hidden files and folders
  • Uncheck: Hide extensions for known file types
  • Uncheck: Hide protected operating system files -- caution!
