There are several good alternatives for a casual Web presence, including MySpace, Google Page Creator, and MSN Spaces.

I've rated some of these editors -- for purposes of creating personal websites -- on a scale of 5 stars (*). Factors include how easy they are to use, how powerful they are, and how easy it is to "publish" the content. (Publish means move the content from your computer to your host server.
