Happy Trails is an RV Resort in Surprise, AZ. Most HT residents are retired, and they are looking for something engaging to do. Using computers and surfing the Internet are some of their favorites.
Anyone residing at Happy Trails RV Resort may be a member of HTCC. Membership fees are $10 per couple for the season. Come to one of our weekly meetings a few minutes early and sign up with our Treasurer.
If you have an email address, write it down and bring it along too (unless you can remember the whole thing until you get there). Membership Fees for returning members are delinquent in January. It's all covered in the bylaws.
General meetings are one of our most popular activities. (Didn't we get our fill of meetings while we were working?) They've improved in the last few years, and promise to be even better in the coming season. Find more at the meetings page, or check out our program for the year.
CyberCoyote -- our email newsletter -- has a synopsis of our meetings, news about classes, tips, links, and other information. It goes out after each weekly meeting, and once a month during the off-season. CyberCoyote is also available online, and it's easy to subscribe.
Classes begin in November. They consist of 5, 3 or 2 sessions on a specific topic. We also have "Computer Kindergarten" which runs more like a workshop. Details are at the "Classes" page and the schedules are also shown on the club calendar.
Workshops are generally two or three 2-hour sessions on designated topics. Most of them are geared to intermediate computer users. Learn more at the workshops page and see the schedule on the club calendar.
Your suggestions, ideas and questions are always welcome. Just send me email. You'll (usually) get a quick response.
See our contacts page to connect with key members of the club.
There are several ways for members to get help with their computers or the internet. One traditional way is at meetings. Some workshops are focused on general help. A few members provide individual help for other members. Help from members is also available online. Find out more at the local and online help pages.
In addition to classes, presentations, individual help, etc., we enjoy some "user group" benefits -- mostly in the form of discounts. We receive "samples" from industry representatives -- some of them very valuable -- to raffle off or to use as incentives. We also fund a "door prize elf" to acquire useful items to use as prizes at meetings.
