Club Meetings

Weekly Meetings

We meet on Thursdays from 2:00 - 3:00. The meetings are usually held in Conference Room One. Everyone is welcome at meetings, not just members. Come a little early if you'd like to sign up to be a member or want to sign up for a class. There's usually some coverage of each meeting in our newsletter.

Program for the season

Thanks to Chuck Hardy, we had a very interesting program for the 2003/2004 season. We had six presentations from outside -- some of these were purely technical, and some also had commercial content. There were also presentations by members who have expertise in specific areas.

Carol Butler will be our program director for the 2004/2005 season. Contact Carol -- -- or any of the officers if you have topics or ideas that you'd like to see in our program.

The Smart Computing User Group Program is an example of the outside program that the Arizona Association of Computer Groups (AZacc) makes available each month. It's a good way to find out about the Smart Computing magazines -- Smart Computing, Computer Power User, PC Today -- and their online services. We receive one subscription for each 5 subscriptions by members, and give them away as a door prizes. You can subscribe online and HTCC will get the credit too.

Business Meetings

Our business meetings are held during the first part of the third weekly meeting each month. We keep them short so that there's time after club business for questions, etc. The business meeting in March serves as our annual meeting.

Annual Meetings

The Business meeting in March is designated the "Annual Meeting". Our last one was March 11, 2004. The Nominating Committee's slate of officers was elected by unanimous proclamation.
