*Internet Explorer 7 Upgrade*
Phil Spohn (that's me) carried out a live upgrade from IE6 to IE7 at the meeting today. Our new laptop performed beautifully during the procedure. That makes 4 out of 5 successful upgrades for Phil.

That means he won the 2006 IE7 World Series today. :-) He has also repaired the computer that IE7 broke. :-)) "Installing IE7" will start you on your way to your own success.

*Hot Deals on Closeout PCs Coming Soon*
The the prospect for PC bargains is shaping up for the holiday season. The explosion of new buzz words will also make it easier for merchants to unload dead-end systems.

*DOS (forerunner to Windows)*
Someone once tried to tell me that Bill Gates wrote DOS. Umm, how about what Tim Paterson says on his website? It was Paterson who wrote DOS. He was with Seattle Computer Systems at the time. The rest is history.

INTERNET

*If you love Google...*
I use several Google services -- Gmail, Blogger, Calendar, Maps, Search, etc. The GUtil! Firefox extension puts the most popular services together under a new "GUtil!" item on your Firefox menu bar. Sweet!

You can probably guess which country has the largest population. But which one has the highest population density? Bet you're wrong. :-) Explore those dimensions and others using the "Honeycomb" provided by the Hive Group.
