*Buy and Sell*
The question, "Is there some way for club members to list things for sale?" came up today (I'm paraphrasing). Yes there is. The "HappyTrailsComputerClub Yahoo Group" -- an interactive mailing list. First, become a member of the group, which is an painless process. :-)
Then you simply send an email message to the group, listing the particulars and price for your item. Everyone that is a member of the group will get a copy of your listing. If someone is interested, they can either reply to you through the group, or directly by email.

*Replying to CyberCoyote*
There's a link at the bottom of each issue of CyberCoyote that will take you to my current email address. I do want your questions and comments, but I block direct replies to cybercoyote@cybercoyote.org because it attracts way too much spam. You'll need to use the link :-)

*Secrets of Firefox Extensions*
After you install a Firefox extension, there's often nothing that tells how to use it or even find it. :-( For example, you often need to add a button to one your toolbars before you can use the extension you just installed. I've written instructions that one, and all the other extension secrets that I've learned.

*Windows 98 Users*
Microsoft no longer supports vintage operating systems. That doesn't mean you must update to XP (or Vista) though. This DOS and Windows 9x (95 & 98) website, which Larry Stanford found, will help you keep 98 going (and have a little fun too).

*Intelligent Search*
"ChaCha" is a new search engine which brings human brain-power to the task. If you don't find what you're looking for using ChaCha, you can "chat" (through your browser) with a search guide who will help you. Results of your interaction with the guide are captured by an artificial intelligence network, which improves the relevance of future searches for everyone.

*How we didn't win the war . . . but the Russians did*
This article -- which gave me a new perspective -- is from London, but it applies to us Americans too. It might have been written if there was no Internet, but you most likely would never read the article if it weren't for the Internet. I'd like to know what history will say 50 years from now about our times, as well. :-)

*Togetherness*
This is touching.

*What a Crazy Year* [best with broadband]
From Natali Del Conte at TechCrunch: "Warning: this post is not for my readers without a sense of humor. If you have no sense of humor, skip to the next story post haste. If you have a sense of humor, please treat yourself to some nightcap entertainment by way of JibJab's latest release, "Nuckin' Futs."
