*Next Week*
First, Brandon will conduct our annual meeting. I'm sure he will keep it will short and sweet, as we already have officers for next season. :-) Then, we'll continue with more Questions and Answers.
*The Yellow Brick Road*
IMNSHO, The Wizard of Oz is the greatest movie of all time. You've probably heard that Microsoft wants to buy Yahoo!. Robert X. Cringly uses the saga of the Yellow Brick Road to explain the MicroHoo saga.

*Adobe Flash Player security hole*
Oh, bother: It's almost impossible to avoid Flash objects -- ads, graphics, buttons, movie clips. Trouble is, they're all flash and no security. :-) It is very important to keep Adobe Flash player (formerly Macromedia Flash) up to date. Many computer users still have ancient versions of Adobe Flash player installed.
Worse yet, installing a new version doesn't remove the old vulnerable versions. Michael Horowitz tells you how to handle things. Make a note to spend some time cleaning up the mess that Adobe has made of your computer, before some miscreant really gums it up.

*Adobe (Acrobat) Reader*
Internet bandits have been having good luck targeting Adobe Reader. The latest exploit works against almost versions except the latest one (8.1.2). I use PDF-XChange Viewer, which is about -- I'm not kidding -- 20 times as fast and inherently more secure.
